It might not seem like it, but the holidays aren’t that far away AT ALL.
We’re already starting to get ready for the holiday season in Disney World, too (okay, technically, we started getting ready during the summer). One of our favorite Disney World holiday traditions, though, is the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, and we now have confirmation of everything that’s coming to this year’s event — and we are SO excited!
The 2023 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays will be taking place from November 24th to December 30th, and we can’t wait to eat all the food, check out the entertainment, shop until we drop, and more that comes with the festival.
Cookie Stroll
Yes, the Cookie Stroll is returning to this year’s EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. What’s not to love about an activity that encourages you to eat cookies for a prize (which is usually ANOTHER cookie)? To participate, you’ll need to buy five cookies from any of the cookie stroll locations (listed in the festival passport). You’ll get a matching stamp for that cookie to add to your passport.
Once you’ve collected five stamps, take your completed passport to the Holiday Sweet & Treats Holiday Kitchen to redeem a prize. That prize is usually another cookie, so YAY! Can you really have too many cookies during the holidays? Last year’s prize also included a pin.

Candlelight Processional
The Candlelight Processional will also be returning this year, along with the Candlelight Processional dining package. This year’s event will feature some new narrators including Chrissy Metz, Luis Fonzi, Brendan Fraser, Ann-Margaret, Eva Longoria, Stirling K. Brown, Joey McIntyre, Jordan Fisher, and Audra McDonald.
Some beloved narrators are also returning, including Neil Patrick Harris, John Stamos, Simi Liu, and more!
Here’s the full schedule for this year’s Candlelight Processional
Storytellers
One of the best parts of the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays is the Storytellers in each country’s pavilion — we love learning about holiday traditions around the world. We can’t wait to see Barn Santa from Norway, a Chinese Lion Dancer for the Lunar New Year, Pere Noel from France, Hanukkah stories, and more.
Santa will also be returning to the Odyssey Pavilion from November 24th through December 24th, so get those Christmas lists ready for him!

Joyful! A Celebration of the Season
Joyful! A Celebration of the Season will also be returning to this year’s festival. This is a show featuring gospel and R&B entertainment that celebrates both Christmas and Kwanzaa!
Be sure to bring your dancing shoes.

Living with the Land Holiday Edition
Living with the Land will also be getting its annual holiday overlay. You’ll see festive holiday lights and more on this attraction during the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays.
This is one of those things we always recommend — this ride is always underrated, but even more so during the holidays.

Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt
Yep, that’s right — you’ll be searching for hidden Olafs again this year for Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt. You just need to buy a map and stickers from festival merchandise locations and start looking for Olaf throughout World Showcase.
Once you’ve found all the Olafs, turn your map in for a prize.

Exclusive Merchandise
Yes, you’ll be able to buy exclusive EPCOT Festival of the Holidays merchandise again this year, and we even got a sneak peek at some items that will be available.
There will be a spirit jersey, a mug, a tumbler, a cookie jar, and more.

Food Booths
Of course, the MOST exciting thing for us when it comes to the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays is the food! We are SO excited to visit some of our favorite food booths again this year and be reunited with some of our favorite holiday snacks, but we’re also looking forward to some new foods!
We have a full list of the food booths available here, and we’ll get you all the menus as soon as they’re released.

So that is a LOT to get excited about and we can’t wait! We’ll keep you updated on all EPCOT Festival of the Holidays news, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
