REVIEW: Come With Us To Eat at the Pool Bar at Disney World’s FANCIEST Hotel

Come with us to eat at one of the FANCIEST hotels in all of Disney World.

Four Seasons

Four Seasons Orlando isn’t owned by Disney, but it’s located on Disney World property. Guests staying here get access to many of the same perks as guests staying at Disney-owned hotels, like free transportation to and from the parks and Early Entry to the theme parks. Plus, there’s a character breakfast every Thursday and Saturday morning! Right now, though, we’re heading to the PB&G to try out a few eats and find out if this restaurant is worth your time and money.

PB&G stands for “Pool Bar & Grill,” which is exactly what this restaurant is! It’s an open-air bar and grill.

PB&G

It’s located between two pools at Four Seasons, right next to the adults-only Oasis pool. The location means you get a great view over the water as you’re eating.

Let’s go to PB&G!

Let’s go inside!

Atmo

PB&G is located on the water between the adults-only pool and the family pool at Four Seasons.

PB&G

It’s typically open from 11AM to 6PM, although double-check the times before your trip because those can change!

You’ll find comfortable, lounge-style chairs in the dining room, where you can relax and enjoy the menu of cocktails and American-style cuisine.

Eats

If you’re looking for barbeque, seafood, and alcoholic drinks, PB&G is the place for you.

Drinks Menu

Hungry? Then let’s get started!

Drinks

We started off our meal with some cocktails. We got the Pretty in Pink drink, which is made with Hendricks gin, rose water, raspberry, lychee, lemon and costs $18.

Pretty in Pink Drink

This drink definitely lives up to its name! It’s even served in a tiki glass to make it extra pretty.

The drink itself is refreshing and very sweet. Lychee is the strongest flavor, so if you’re not a fan of lychee then you should steer clear of this one. You should also avoid this if you don’t like sugary cocktails. Overall, though, we thought it was tasty and possibly the perfect “lounge by the pool while you’re on vacation” drink!

Cute!

Next, we tried A Mule in Moscow, which has Hangar One citron, ginger, and berries and costs $17.

A Mule in Moscow

This frozen drink was delicious! We couldn’t really taste the alcohol, but it was refreshing. It has a fairly strong raspberry flavor, but it’s a fresh raspberry flavor (not like the syrup you’d find in gas station slushies). The strongest flavor, however, is the ginger.

Yum!

One of our favorite things about this drink was the texture. The ice is super fine, which makes it easy and smooth to drink.

Mule in Moscow

Our last drink was the Skinny Dip, which is made with your choice of St Augustine vodka or gin and has St Germain and a cucumber-rosemary lemonade mixed in. It costs $15.

Skinny Dip

We asked the bartender which drink was the most refreshing, and this is what we got! (Spoiler: the bartender was 100% right.) We got ours with vodka.

The Skinny Dip has a light and bright flavor. The rosemary adds a hint of herbiness, which balances out the bright flavor of the lemonade.

Well-balanced

We definitely noticed an agave syrup flavor, which made the drink more sweet than we were expecting initially.

Food

Now it’s time to EAT! We tried the Tuna Poké, which is made with a sesame soy poké sauce, scallions, avocado, and spicy aioli and served with prawn crackers. It costs $23.

Tuna Poke

This dish was absolutely incredible. The tuna is very soft and just melts in your mouth. The avocado is creamy and fresh.

Yum

The softness of the fish pairs well with the prawn crackers, which are light, bubbly, and airy. The textural combination took this dish to the next level.

Great textural combination

We also grabbed the Popcorn Shrimp, which is buttermilk marinated rock shrimp served with PB&G cocktail sauce, Boom Boom sauce, and a lemon for $17.

Popcorn Shrimp

This was quite possibly the BEST popcorn shrimp we’ve ever had. We’d even say it’s better than the Firecracker Shrimp at the BOATHOUSE!

So tasty

The breading is flavorful, and the sauces were both great additions.

Great sauces

Our last snack was the White Wine Steamed Mussels, which are made with parsley, oregano, garlic, white wine, butter, and capers and served with lemon and a grilled baguette. These cost $18.

White Wine Steamed Mussels

These might not be the absolute best mussels we’ve ever had in Disney World, but they’re certainly up in the top few, which we don’t say lightly.

Very good!

The mussels are very garlic-y, and you just get a whisper of the white wine flavor. We enjoyed that because sometimes that wine flavor can overpower the taste of the actual mussels.

Served with a grilled baguette

They were buttery and delicious, and we’d happily get these again.

Nosh or Not

Stop by PB&G if you…

  • Are staying at Four Seasons and want a relaxing meal. We loved everything we tried here and would highly recommend a visit!
  • Love seafood. There are some great seafood options on the menu — we liked what we had but will definitely be back to try those fish tacos and the salmon sandwich!
  • Want delicious food but a chill atmosphere. Most of the restaurants at Four Seasons are on the fancier side, but this one has a laid-back feel (seeing as it’s a pool bar). Even with the casual vibes, the food was clearly high qualify.

Skip this spot if you…

  • Aren’t staying at or near Four Seasons. Although we loved the food and drinks here, there are some other excellent seafood restaurants in Disney World that won’t require you to go quite so far out of your way. We recommend Narcoossee’s or The BOATHOUSE as alternatives!
  • Don’t like seafood. There are some land-lubber options on the menu here, but it seems like their specialty is seafood. There are other restaurants at Four Seasons with more variety on the menu, such as Capa (a steakhouse with Spanish-influenced cuisine) and Plancha, a Cuban restaurant on the golf course. Want Italian food? Check out Ravello, which also boasts a Disney character breakfast two days a week.
  • Are looking for a fancy place to celebrate a special occasion. Although the food here was good, the atmosphere was decidedly casual. Some options for fancier restaurants at Disney World include Capa (also at Four Seasons), Le Cellier, California Grill, and (if you’re REALLY looking to celebrate) Victoria & Alberts.

Overall

We really liked everything we had at PB&G! Although we don’t think you should go super far out of your way to eat here (there’s plenty of great seafood elsewhere in Disney World), it’s a solid option if you’re staying at Four Seasons. And that shrimp really is to die for, so we highly recommend getting that if you do find yourself looking for a snack at this hotel!
