One thing that makes Disneyland such a happy place is that random things can happen at any time.

You could turn around and BOOM — Jack and Sally are suddenly walking beside you. Or maybe you’re on Haunted Mansion Holiday and your Doom Buggy stops during the ballroom scene (the best time to be stuck on a ride). Maybe you’re wandering Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and you bump into the Mandalorian and Grogu. Or maybe, just maybe, you see the CUTEST thing ever in Batuu: a band of wandering droids.

Okay, so we’re used to seeing Disney ducks wandering around Disneyland, but droids? Well, this is something new! A band of BD units have taken to the streets of Batuu to see all the sights and sounds of a galaxy far, far away. Thanks to @DisneyDan, we have videos of these new visitors to the Black Spire Outpost.

These droids are being tested by Disney Imagineers as free-roaming characters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Okay, HOW COOL?!?!?! So, maybe, just maybe, these ARE the droids you’re looking for (sorry, we had to go there).

They’re so fun and also low-key super adorable, too.

So next time you find yourself visiting Disneyland, you might want to keep an eye out for its new littlest visitors. They’ll be happy to see you (and you’ll be happy to see them, we bet!). In the meantime, you can also still run into Ahsoka as well as Hera and Chopper in Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, so keep an eye out for them, too.
