Oh, how we love Ewoks. They’re so cute and cuddly, right?
See? CUTE Ewok.
But Ewoks aren’t supposed to be adorable. They can be quite brutal — and even deadly (watch Star Wars: Return of the Jedi if you don’t believe us). However, Ewok merchandising usually depicts them almost as teddy bears, despite how terrifying they really are. Now, though, Disney has finally given us the first HONEST depiction of an Ewok with a new piece of merchandise, and well, you just need to see it to believe it.

Disney just dropped a new plush of Wicket the Ewok, and he looks as terrifying as he really is. This is one of the Ewoks that Han, Leia, and Chewbacca encounter in Return of the Jedi, and, well, let’s just say that they were about to be invited to become Ewok dinner that night if C-3PO hadn’t intervened. Yes, that movie drops hints that the Ewoks possibly EAT PEOPLE.

Still, there is just something extra unnerving about this plush, and it’s kind of interesting that Disney chose to go with something that might scare the kids at night. However, we’re also amused by this thing, and we think Star Wars fans are going to want to add this to their collection. Also, this Ewok stands a little over 3 feet tall, so it’s almost life-sized!
