World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will finally be opening up the gates for the first time in November, but Disney Magical Kingdom blog shared a couple of videos of night views from the new land.
Night Views of Friendship Fountain Lighting Effects
Friendship Fountain stands in the middle of the land between Bayside Wharf and Golden Crocus Inn.
The fountain features frozen fractals of Elsa’s own creation atop the lower functional fountain.
As you can see, the snowy sculpture glitters and twinkles with lighting changes.
The fountain alternates colors between shades of purple and blue.
Different sections of the fountain pulse and glow with the land’s music, creating a magical effect.
Night views of the fountain show the reflections of the water dancing gracefully along the underside of the sculpture.

Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs at Night
Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs careen through the forest side of World of Frozen. They glide above the water near the forest’s playful waterfalls, lit in blue in these night views.
The sleigh ride swings through this area with the waterfalls splashing, bathed in blue lighting behind.
Arendelle Castle Lighting Effects at Night
The view of Arendelle Castle varies throughout the evening, sometimes cast in dark, moody lighting like these images.
The icy snowflake atop the highest turret of the castle shines brightest.
At other times, the castle is brightly lit in purples and blues, its turrets and walls cast in a dramatic glow highlighting the details of the stone work.
The flood lighting on the castle illuminate the small details included by Imagineers to the structure, like these shield-shaped banners along the exterior wall.
Each window gleams from within with amber light.
The castle’s peaks reminiscent of stave churches from the real-world Nordic inspiration are delicate in the blue and pink lighting.
Clock Tower Square and North Mountain with Elsa’s Ice Palace
From Clock Tower Square, the forced perspective view of Elsa’s Ice Palace atop the North Mountain glows from within.
The castle, magically hewn from the ice at the peak of the mountain, is bright against the night sky.
Looking a little closer to our vantage point here in Clock Tower Square, we see that small wooden dolls of Ana and Elsa stand in front of the clock tower. The clock face appears to be lit from within to show off the detail on the piece.
If the pictures aren’t enough to melt your frozen heart, check out the night views in the video below:
