🚨The FIRST Holiday Decorations Have Arrived in Disney World🚨

It’s TIMEEEEEE.

Hollywood Studios Christmas tree

If you’ve visited Disney World in the past few months, it may feel like Halloween has been going on for AGES. (And to be fair, it kind of does — Disney started celebrating in mid-August!) For those who’ve had their fill of spooky season, you might be ready to kick Christmas into gear. Now, before Halloween has even happened, Disney World has added its FIRST holiday decorations of the season!

During a visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we spotted the holiday lanterns on display in the Discovery Island area of the park! These lanterns adorn the top of Island Mercantile and Discovery Trading Company.

The lanterns are up!

These are the first holiday decorations we’ve seen in Disney World so far this season! The little lanterns light up at night and pay homage to some of the Merry Menagerie puppets who roam Discovery Island during the holiday time.

How cute are these little guys?!

They also added back the colorful holiday season lanterns in the Asia section of the park. These are so beautiful!

These returned as well!

The holiday offerings will take place at Animal Kingdom from November 11th-December 31st, 2023. During that time, you can check out the Merry Menagerie, the holiday-themed Tree of Life Awakenings at night, holiday character meets, and seasonal snacks. We can’t wait to celebrate!

We’re in the spirit!

We’ll keep you in the loop with more holiday decorations and additions as they arrive, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest news and updates.
