UPDATE: ‘Bluey’ Scavenger Hunt Discontinued at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

On Thursday, November 1, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort introduced “Bluey” to Walt Disney World in the form of a scavenger hunt. As of today, November 4, the hunt has been discontinued (at least temporarily).

The Heeler Family Hide ‘N’ Seek scavenger hunt marked the first official use of “Bluey” at Walt Disney World, and at Disney Parks & Resorts in general.

While the reasons behind the discontinuation are unknown, it is possible that the hunt will resume. The description of the game (below) referenced the Heeler family preparing for Thanksgiving, indicating that Disney intended to keep it around at least through the holiday.

The Heeler family is on Holiday at the Campground and is playing a game of Hide ‘N’ Seek. Bluey needs your help to find all her family members so she can be crowned the “Hide ‘N’ Seek Winner” at their first Thanksgiving Dinner! Follow each clue to lead you to a family member in hiding. Once all the Heelers have been found, head to the Bike Barn to claim your prize!

“Bluey” is an Australian animated kids TV series created by Joe Brumm and produced by Ludo Studio. It premiered on ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) Kids on October 1, 2018.

Disney acquired international broadcasting rights for “Bluey” in 2019 and the series premiered on Disney Junior that September. It is available to stream on Disney+ in most territories.

The main characters are Bluey, Bingo, Bandit, and Chilli Heeler, a family of Blue Heeler and Red Heeler dogs. Bluey represents a six to seven-year-old child, while her sister Bingo is four. Bandit and Chilli, voiced by David McCormack and Melanie Zanetti, are their parents. The rest of the cast is made up of other dogs, many of which are extended family members. Bluey, Bingo, and the other child characters are voiced by children of the production crew and are not credited.
