This Is the ONLY Way To Ride Rise of the Resistance During Jollywood Nights in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

We’re here on the first night of Jollywood Nights to see how Disney is running things at this all-new event!

There is special entertainment, food, and beverages. But some of the biggest perks of these after-hours events are the shorter wait times for the rides! But one very popular ride has a slight change in how it’s run for these holiday events.

Rise of the Resistance is one of the most popular rides in Hollywood Studios. When it first opened, we were introduced to it with a virtual queue system. But we haven’t seen a virtual queue for the massive Star Wars ride since 2021–until now at Jollywood Nights.

Rise of the Resistance will only have a virtual queue at Jollywood Nights

You can join the virtual queue right at 8PM in the My Disney Experience app or scan the QR code on the signs around the park. Then you just need to be ready with your party already loaded into the app with a registered Jollywood Night ticket. There will NOT be a standby line for the ride for the events.

The virtual queue will only be used during Jollywood Nights, not during regular park hours. You’ll get a boarding group and then wait to be called!

We noticed there were still boarding groups available at 8:50 which is pretty impressive!

So if you’re hoping to ride this fun Star Wars thrill ride on Jollywood Nights, be sure you’re ready at 8PM to get in line (virtually that is)! And enjoy the rest of the night’s festivities while you wait to be called.
