The Celestial-sized Choco-Smash CANDY Bar has been replaced with a new Choco Smash Cake at Pym Test Kitchen in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure.
The candy bar has been the restaurant’s main dessert offering since it opened in the summer of 2021. The new chocolate cake includes many of the same ingredients, just in a different form.
Choco Smash Cake – $8.99
Layers of Brownie, White Chocolate Peanut Butter Ganache with Crunch Pearls, White Cake, Dark Chocolate Truffle Mousse and White Chocolate Caramel Bavarian Cream, coated in Chocolate Ganache and topped with Roasted Peanuts
This is a much better concept for the Choco Smash Candy Bar.
The bar was just too much and had to be shared with several people to be worth getting. Plus, it was messy.
This cake is much easier to eat and can be tackled solo or with a friend.
It has everything the bar had: chocolate, brownie, peanut butter, caramel, choco rice crunchies, plus a vanilla cake layer. Rather than taking overwhelming bites of everything at once, you can decide what layers to eat together.
It’s a sweet and delicious dessert. We think this is a great change. While we would have rated the bar around 6 out of 10, the cake is a 9 out of 10.
