“Parkside Market” A New Korean-Inspired Food Hall Coming to Downtown Disney

Construction is underway on Parkside Market, a new $8 million food hall concept that will open in late 2024 in the former AMC theater building in Downtown Disney. The 11,000-square-foot space will house four distinct restaurant concepts curated by Levy Restaurants as well as an outdoor bar on the second level. The building permits filed with the city of Anaheim call for fast casual dining with an Asian fusion concept as the highlight. Seoul Sister, by Chef Kelly Kim, will offer Korean bibimbap rice and noodle bowls along with Korean-inspired breakfast items and handcrafted drinks. The bibimbap bowls allow guests to customize with proteins, vegetables, and flavorful sauces.

Joining Seoul Sister at Parkside Market will be Sip & Sonder, a coffeehouse from Los Angeles known for its lattes, frozen drinks, and Caribbean bites. Fans of fried chicken will appreciate GG’s Chicken Shop, which serves sandwiches, salads, and sides created by the team behind Chicago’s Boka Restaurant Group. Capping off the food hall will be an as-yet-unnamed outdoor cocktail bar overlooking downtown Disney. Patrons can enjoy craft cocktails, frozen drinks, and mocktails mixed with fresh ingredients. The al fresco bar will give guests a new vantage point to take in the sights and sounds of the entertainment district.

The diverse mix of dining options at Parkside Market continues the ongoing revitalization of downtown Disney. Disneyland Resort has been working to bring new retail, dining, and entertainment to the area. Parkside Market joins recently announced restaurants like the acclaimed Chinese eatery Din Tai Fung and the bakery Porto’s, both set to open in 2024 as well.

Guests will have fresh new dining options to explore when Parkside Market opens next year.
