After just a few months, the Indiana Jones pinball machine that reappeared in Adventureland at Disneyland Park following a multiple-year absence has again been removed.
Indiana Jones Pinball Machine Removed
The pinball machine, which once stood in this corner to amuse guests willing to part with a handful of quarters, has been removed.
In its place, additional seating or storage for strollers and scooters for the Bengal Barbecue shop has returned.
The machine once stood in the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost Shop, ready for temple explorers to enjoy after experiencing Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Once the shop closed in 2017, Indiana Jones merchandise could be found in the nearby Adventureland Bazaar, but the pinball machine was gone.
To celebrate the theatrical release of “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” this past July, the pinball machine once again returned to this corner in what is now the Bengal Barbecue indoor seating area.
This week, we noticed the machine has once again been removed. Perhaps some future adventure will once again cause this Disneyland treasure to surface, but for now, the pinball machine is lost to the sands of time.
Will you be missing this nostalgic Disneyland relic, or are you glad for a little more elbow room as you’re dining at Bengal Barbecue? Let us know in the comments.
