We Found The BEST Thing In EPCOT’s New World Celebration Gardens, And We Won’t Be Taking Questions At This Time

EPCOT has been undergoing a lengthy transformation for what feels like FOREVER.

Construction Walls

Yep, it’s been years since we’ve seen the park in all her wall-less glory. Walls have protected the behind-the-scenes construction of an enhanced World Celebration as well as the addition of Communicore Hall and Plaza — where future festivals will take place.

BUT we learned in November that the EPCOT transformation will be COMPLETE in December, and among the first to open will be the World Celebration Gardens and Walt Disney Statue — set to open to the public on December 5th — in honor of Walt’s birthday. Well, we were fortunate enough to take a lil’ peek at the statue and gardens via a media event, and we just had to share some IMPORTANT info regarding these gardens! 

Okay, first of all, the World Celebration Gardens are absolutely beautiful. We totally foresee them being EPCOT’s Central Park — a spot for us to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the main park areas and World Showcase. OUTLETS! Haaaaaallelujah!

Yep, you can charge your devices while chilling out and just takin’ in all the views of the new area.

Outlets!

All you have to do is open the lil’ door and BOOM. Your electricity awaits. There are two spots for a regular wall charger, and then four USB ports. 

Electricity! Woo!

The addition of outlets is so convenient, especially since EPCOT is a park where you’ll probably be on your device a lot to try to score Virtual Queues or Lightning Lanes for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
