We’ve eaten our way around the world (many times) at EPCOT, but thankfully calories don’t count at Disney (right?).

Well, if you’re like us and you’re still waiting for some of those closed restaurants in Disney World to reopen (so you can eat even MORE food), then you’ll be excited to hear that one quick-service spot in EPCOT was open this past weekend and should be available when you visit on the weekends.
In the United Kingdom pavilion in EPCOT, you’ll find Yorkshire County Fish Shop — a quick service spot that serves up some seriously DELICIOUS fish and chips! Just look at that perfectly crisp batter.

Currently, on the Walt Disney World website, this location appears as “Temporarily Unavailable.”

But, over the weekend, our friends over at Touring Plans posted a story on their Instagram account noting that Yorkshire County Fish Shop was open!

When we stopped by today, the spot was closed.

But, we did spot a social distancing marker directly in front of the counter of the restaurant.

We spoke to a Cast Member in EPCOT who told us that the location should be open on the weekends. Hooray!! This reminded us of the various 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival booths which we’ve been told should also be open only on the weekends. It seems Disney is adjusting the hours and dates of operation for some of its locations depending on crowd levels and guest need.

Keep in mind that the outdoor seating area near the Yorkshire County Fish Shop is one of the current mask relaxation stations. So, if you’re going to grab food from Yorkshire County Fish Shop, you could take it to that spot, where you’ll be able to sit and relax without your mask on at a socially distanced table.

We’re excited to see this spot reopening and we can’t wait to try it on one of our future trips to EPCOT. We’ll be on the lookout for more reopening news around Disney World and let you know what we find!
