Even though we still don’t know the exact date Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure will reopen, we’re starting to see more signs that the parks are getting ready to welcome guests as soon as they are able to!
Just last week, we spotted some new park reservation signs and a potential walkway at Disneyland Resort, and we’ve seen some health and safety signs outside of the parks as well. Today, we spotted even more additions that show we’re one step closer to Disneyland reopening.
First — we spotted some social distancing and health and safety signs. They’re a bit difficult to see clearly in this first photo, but from just outside of the gates at Disney California Adventure park, you can see a few social distancing signs that have been placed on the lampposts and other areas.
When we zoomed in, we could pick out the signs more clearly. There are some signs in the planters reminding guests to remain 6 feet apart, and some more general health and safety signs like the ones we saw outside of the park previously, that remind guests to wear their masks, maintain social distancing, and more.
Toward the other side of the street — over by Los Feliz Five & Dime — we could see more signs.
These were, again, those Health & Safety Reminders. The “Enter Here” sign by the door to the shop, which we saw a few days ago, was also still up.
We also saw some more signs in the planters regarding social distancing.
We also spotted some similar signs on the lampposts inside Disneyland Park.
Second — outside of Disneyland Park, over toward the right hand side, we found 2 “rows” of social distancing markers leading to the park.
We were SO incredibly excited when we spotted these!
These really show us that Disneyland is seriously and actively working on getting everything in place so that they can be ready for guests to enter as soon as they are allowed to reopen.
Recently, Disney executives have made a strong case for Disneyland to reopen soon, and a trade association leader representing Disneyland and others has also called on the California governor to open theme parks. We’re keeping our eyes open for more news regarding Disneyland Resort’s reopening, and we’ll definitely keep you informed of any updates.
