The lighting that illuminates the facade of The Seas With Nemo & Friends at EPCOT has been updated with what appears to be blue LED lights that give the 3D mural a more oceanic tint.

The new lighting is significantly bluer than the old lighting, which was more like white spotlights.
The new blue lights more evenly illuminate the ocean mural from below, giving it an underwater glow.
Many of the mural’s character flats were recently removed and returned for refurbishment after the roof was repainted.
The lighting on The Seas sign and seagulls appears to be the same.
Compare the lighting to the photo from Disney and our old video of the façade below.
Inside The Seas With Nemo & Friends, the sea creatures are celebrating the holidays with various underwater decorations. And an effect that has been turned off for years was recently re-activated.
