The attraction will be closed for one day only — January 24 — and reopening for guests on January 25.

Frozen Ever After replaced Maelstrom in 2016. The shoot-the-chute ride kept the basic ride system as its predecessor. It marked the first time a World Showcase attraction was based on a fictional country, as it takes place in the Scandinavian-inspired Arendelle.

Elements from the original “Frozen” film and the short film “Frozen Fever” are included.

Guests can also find a version of Frozen Ever After in The World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland, which just opened to guests in November. Find our full review of the new land here.
