Universal Volcano Bay will remain closed through New Year’s Eve due to inclement weather, Universal Orlando Resort announced on X.
Volcano Bay has had to close several times this season due to storms and cold temperatures. The park has been closed since Thursday, December 27 this week and is currently scheduled to remain closed through Sunday, December 31 before reopening on Monday, January 1, 2024.
The forecasted high for Orlando on Sunday is 66° with a low of 48°, although sunny conditions are expected. The high is supposed to get up to 70° on Monday. (via Weather.com)
Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park has already decided to remain closed through Tuesday, January 2. Universal may announce a longer closure for Volcano Bay in the coming days.
