I Bought the Cheapest Lunch in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here’s What Surprised Me.

You’re on your 2024 Disney World trip and the question comes up: What are we having for lunch?

Totchos

If you’re at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you’ll be faced with over 30 options to choose from between the food carts at one end, all the way up to the signature dining restaurants at the other end. Also, with how expensive things can quickly become, we thought we’d lend a hand and show you some options for the cheapest lunch options you’ll find at Hollywood Studios!

Honestly, we were surprised when we started looking for cheap lunches! There are plenty of meals available in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for around the price of a combo at a fast food drive-thru elsewhere! Remember that you can ask for a free cup of ice water to save several dollars over buying a fountain drink with lunch.

When thinking about how to save the most and still have a good meal, our minds go to a place you might not have thought about before. We’re talking about ordering from the Kids’ menu. I know that not everyone will go for them, but they really are a good portion of food for the price — and a drink is included! You can generally order a kids meal at quick-service restaurants in Disney World without question — and you can always use mobile order (the system that lets you order and pay at many Disney World quick-service restaurants through the My Disney Experience app) to get one.

Kids’ Menu

The cheapest meals you can find on the “Kids’” menu are under $7. Here are the options:

Woody’s Lunch Box:

Grilled Cheese: half-sandwich with melted provolone, cheddar, and American on grilled sourdough bread served with Cuties Mandarin, potato barrels, and your choice of beverage. – $6.99

Backlot Express:

Macaroni & Cheese: served with strawberry-flavored yogurt smoothie, carrot sticks, and a choice of small low-fat milk or small DASANI bottled water. – $6.99

PizzeRizzo:

Now, if ordering from the Kids’ Menu isn’t your cup of tea, no problem. You can still find good meals at a reasonable price.

Adult Menu

The cheapest meals you can find on the “Adults’” menu are all under $11. Here are the options:

Backlot Express:

Chicken Strips: served with French Fries. – $10.99
