4 RARE Characters We Met at Disney’s Hollywood Studios After Hours Event

Meeting characters at Disney World is one of the most FUN activities that visitors can do.

Hollywood Studios After Hours

Sure, the rides are fun, but character interactions make those Disney World trips just a little more magical! Now, during the day, you can meet the usual characters, like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Chip ‘n’ Dale, and more, but if you happen to attend an After Hours event in Disney World, you might run into some RARE characters you wouldn’t see otherwise. Well, we just went to an After Hours event in Hollywood Studios and met a TON of rare characters!

In case you’re new to After Hours events, these separate ticketed events allow event guests to enter Disney World’s theme parks AFTER they close to the public. We had a ticket to the Hollywood Studios After Hours event, which started at 9:30PM and lasted until 12:30AM. However, those with tickets for the After Hours event can actually enter the park as early as 7PM.

Because tickets for these events are limited, you’ll deal with smaller (or nonexistent) crowds and shorter lines. But more importantly, you’ll get to meet Disney characters! Some of these characters are those you can see during the day, like Tiana…

…and Minnie.

However, you’ll also get to see characters that aren’t usually available during the day with a regular park ticket. One of the characters that we saw during the event was Duffy!

We also saw Pocahontas and Meeko (if you’ll notice, the princesses are a bit bundled up because it’s been a bit chilly in Florida, especially at night).

The White Rabbit also popped in to hang out with us. He’s late! He’s late! For a very important date!

Oh, and good news — the lines to meet characters during our event were quite short! If you’re interested in attending After Hours in Hollywood Studios, you can currently buy tickets for the following dates and prices:

  • Wednesday, January 24th – $165 (Annual Passholders/DVC: $135)
  • Wednesday, February 21st – $175 (Annual Passholders/DVC: $145)
  • Monday, February 26th – $175 (Annual Passholders/DVC: $145)
  • Wednesday, March 13th – $175 (Annual Passholders/DVC: $145)

It’s time!
