For us, Halloween costumes are a BIG DEAL. In fact, one of our all-time favorite things to do during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is to scout out the BEST guest Halloween costumes; and let’s just be real for a sec, Disney fans can BRING IT when it comes to stylish and creative costumes.

Now we know Halloween looks a little different this year since Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is canceled. But NEVER FEAR! There’ still magic to be had! This year, guests of all ages can wear their costumes during Magic Kingdom’s regular operating hours from September 15th and October 31st! YAY!!!
But that’s not all! We’re now learning that Disney is offering yet another way to allow YOU to show off your spooky best!
This Halloween, the D23: The Official Disney Fan Club is offering its first virtual D23 Halloween Mousequerade! (Yes, that’s a MOUSEquerade. How punny!)

To participate in this virtual Halloween Mousequerade, YOU are invited to channel your own Halloween Fairy Godmother and design your own Disney-inspired Halloween costume for a chance at a $500 Disney Gift Card! (Hey, $500 can buy A LOT of pumpkin spice lattes…)

Now let’s get into more of the DEETS! The category is “All Things Disney!” This means costumes can be inspired by Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars, as well as Disney Park attractions! Also, contestants must make their costumes from original household materials!

Participants MUST submit an entry form and a photo of their costume. This can be done from September 17 – October 1, on D23.com! Not a D23 member? No worries! You can join here for free!
Winners will be announced at the virtual D23 Halloween Mousequerade event, which will be streamed on D23.com and D23’s Facebook and YouTube channels on October 31 at 5PM ET.
