Disney World has released some exciting free Annual Passholder magnets before, with designs that had us scrambling to EPCOT to pick up the latest magnet themed to Figment, Dumbo, and more classic characters. There was even a time that Disney re-released several of the past Annual Passholder magnet designs for those who hadn’t already picked them up when they were initially released. Now, Disney’s created another iconic look for their latest Annual Passholder magnet and revealed who will be featured this time!
Becoming an Annual Passholder at Disney World has a lot of perks. Between merchandise discounts, exclusive offers to save on your tickets and hotel stays, and even special areas only Passholders are allowed into, you really could find value in them if you’re planning on visiting Disney World frequently.

Occasionally, Disney also releases their free magnets available for Annual Passholders to pick up while visiting the park. These magnets have become something of an icon themselves, prompting curiosity about who will be featured on the next magnet and when it’ll come out.
Time to grab some magnets!
In a fun teaser on the Annual Passholder Buzz on the My Disney Experience app, Disney gave us a glimpse of who will be featured in the upcoming magnet design. Oh look, there’s Hei Hei!

Well, he wasn’t always known for his sharp common sense!

Now, we finally have confirmation that the next magnet to release will feature Hei Hei from Moana. Here’s a first look at the magnet!

Hei Hei will be pictured front and center surrounded by the retro-fitted Disney “D.” The letter will be colored in teal to highlight the colorful (yet kookie) bird. This magnet will be available for Annual Passholders to pick up starting on January 29th, 2024.
To get the magnet, head to Creations Shop in EPCOT during normal park operating hours sometime between January 29th and February 23rd.

All you’ll need to do to snag it for yourself is be a valid Disney World Annual Passholder entering EPCOT with a current Park Pass Reservation or on a “Good-to-Go” day, and present your Annual Passholder card (via linked Magicband or Magicband+, physical card to scan, or Disney MagicMobile pass) along with a valid ID… that’s it! There’s a limit of one magnet per passholder.
