Get ready for a two-month-long cruise full of dancing, jazz, food, and other entertainment! The Mardi Gras Tribute Store facade has started to go up at Universal Studios Florida.
Before closing, the Holiday Tribute Store hinted at Tribute River Cruises being the theme for this year’s Mardi Gras Tribute Store. Now, we have our first look at this year’s entrance.
2024 Mardi Gras Tribute Store
Trusses were set up a few days ago on the Williams of Hollywood side of the store. This has typically been the exit of the Tribute Store in the past, but it looks like this will be the entrance for the 2024 Mardi Gras Tribute Store. Half of the facade has been installed, with the top of a riverboat visible.
The teaser from the Holiday Tribute Store mentions the P.S. Songbird, so this is most likely the riverboat from the cruise brochures. Based on the hints and the first signs of the new facade, the store will be like stepping onto the P.S. Songbird riverboat.
Every year, it seems like the Tribute Store gets bigger and better. Last year, the Tribute Store made a huge move from the New York section of the park to the Hollywood section, making this the second year the Mardi Gras Tribute Store has been located in that area.
The Tribute Store is more than just a store, it’s an immersive experience for guests. It has grown over the years and gone from an annual offering for Halloween Horror Nights to getting a new theme every season of the year. The Tribute Store is even a highlight on this year’s event map!
Universal Orlando has announced a passholder preview for the Cursed Coconut Club in CityWalk, but we’re hopeful that UOAPs will also get a preview for the new Mardi Gras Tribute Store.
Be sure to stay tuned to see the completed facade for this year’s Mardi Gras Tribute Store and all the latest updates!
