Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom
- While the Home Depot lights remain outside Columbia Harbour House at Magic Kingdom, the restaurant’s façade has received a few good touch-ups, as well as more scaffolding.
- We saw several crew members working on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom on Friday. Some were removing scaffolding from the attraction while others worked on the fake foliage.
EPCOT
- Construction is trucking along at the future site of CommuniCore Hall and Plaza area of EPCOT, including an update to the CommuniCore Plaza stage.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- The road leading to the new Cast building at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground has opened as construction nears completion.
- All hell broke loose between a pair of twin sisters in a Walt Disney World hotel over a television.
- Celebrate Mardi Gras at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter with the new bananas foster beignets.
New Merchandise
- Fans of the Haunted Mansion have two new happy haunts to collect, with these Madame Leota and Hatbox Ghost magnets now available at Walt Disney World.
- Become an honorary Cast Member with one of these new name tag pins available at Walt Disney World.

- A new fleet of Walt Disney World buses has begun to arrive with a new system for securing mobility devices such as wheelchairs and ECVs.
Disneyland Resort
- In celebration of Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts Nite 2024, a Royal Cavalcade makes its way down Mainstreet, U.S.A. to “it’s a small world,” featuring Disney Princesses and their loved ones.
- Among the new seasonal offerings at Disney California Adventure is the Blue Hawaiian cocktail from Pym Tasting Lab in Avengers Campus.
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Minnie Mouse takes center stage in Minnie’s Funderland Parade, an all-new parade honoring Minnie Mouse.
Entertainment and Media
- The first trailer for “Twisters” made its debut during Super Bowl 58.
- The first trailer to the highly-anticipated musical film, “Wicked,” defied gravity, debuting during the 2024 Super Bowl.
- Fans of the ‘Deadpool’ movie franchise were treated to the first trailer of the third installment, titled “Deadpool & Wolverine” during Super Bowl 58.
- “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace” is hitting the big screen once again in celebration of its 25th anniversary.
