Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is officially opening in Disney World this SUMMER!

While we don’t have an official date just yet, we have been keeping up with all the latest updates on the ride’s progress and we’re getting pretty darn excited about it. And, progress just took a major leap forward over on the bayou — let’s check it out!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will pick up the story of The Princess and the Frog “after the final kiss, and join Princess Tiana and Louis on a musical adventure – featuring some of the powerful music from the film – as they prepare for their first-ever Mardi Gras performance.”

Most — if not all — of the actual track of the ride has remained unchanged from when it was Splash Mountain — even down to the log flumes! We got to see these ride vehicles being tested the other day thanks to a video from our follower @kaitlynducote on Instagram — check it out below:

The story of the attraction picks up during New Orleans’ Carnival season, and Tiana is hosting a Mardi Gras Party for the people of New Orleans — the community that has supported her successful restaurant. But Tiana realizes that the party is “missing a key ingredient” and she needs help finding it — which is where you come in!
We’ve got water!
This vehicle testing means we’re that much closer to being able to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! The ride is projected to open in summer 2024 in Disney World and late 2024 in Disneyland.
