I Go to Disney World Every Day — Here Are My Top 4 Comfort Hotels

Here at DFB, we go to Disney World a LOT. And by a lot, we mean every single day!

Cinderella Castle

During our many visits to Disney World, we’ve stayed at every single hotel on property, and over the years, we’ve formed some strong opinions about them. There’s a hotel for every type of person, but there are some locations we just keep coming back to. These are our comfort hotels in Walt Disney World!

Pop Century

The first one on our list is the most budget-friendly of the group. Pop Century is probably our favorite Value Resort because of its price point and its convenience — you’re right there on the Skyliner but not having to pay the $$$ of Art of Animation.

Pop Century

The retro themes are great for a nostalgia moment, and there’s nothing quite like a morning stroll around Hourglass Lake. If you’re on a budget, this is our go-to pick!

Saratoga Springs

Our second pick might be surprising, but it’s a great choice if you’re hoping for a quieter resort atmosphere. Saratoga Springs is located right next door to Disney Springs, so if you love shopping and delicious eats, you’re within walking distance of some great options.

Saratoga Springs

This hotel tends to feel a little less busy and overcrowded than other spots around property, and the walking pathways throughout are beautiful. There are several pools, it has boat service down the Sassagoula, and you could even stay at one of the unique Treehouse Villas!

Port Orleans French Quarter

Mickey beignets. Need we say more? Haha, but seriously, Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter has some serious charm with its named streets, Mardi Gras feel, and delicious food. It’s just a short boat ride away from Disney Springs, and with fewer rooms than its Riverside counterpart, it’s less crowded.

Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort

We find ourselves often visiting this hotel even when we’re not staying there. THAT’S how special it is to us! (And of course, the fact that we can get Mickey beignets at Scat Cat’s Club certainly helps!)

Wilderness Lodge

Our final pick is Wilderness Lodge, located on the shores of Bay Lake. Not only does this lodge have boat service to Magic Kingdom and stunning waterfront cabins, but it’s also a relaxing place to hang out. If you’re the type who loves a mountain getaway, this is the Disney hotel for you.

Wilderness Lodge

They have amazing dining offerings in the form of Whispering Canyon, Geyser Point Bar & Grill, and Artist Point (which has a character meal with Snow White and the Evil Queen), and the lobby is a place where we love to just sit and chill out after a long day.

Geyser Point

So if you’re going to Disney World for vacation soon, consider one of these spots! We’ve enjoyed our stays here in the past, and we hope you’ll enjoy them just as much in the future.
