The previously revealed new CommuniCore Hall mural is being installed at EPCOT. The mural features Mickey and friends in retro space suits with references to EPCOT past and present.
CommuniCore Hall Mural
We spotted the mural on this side of CommuniCore Hall while visiting EPCOT this morning, February 22. This building will eventually be where guests enter the new permanent Mickey & Friends meet and greet space.
Here we can see workers near the mural. Minnie Mouse’s ears can be seen behind the worker on the left, with Mickey just barely peeking over the construction walls on the right.
Goofy’s head can fully be seen from over the construction walls. While Mickey and Minnie wear glass helmets, Goofy sports a pair of goggles.
This mural was first revealed back in August 2023, during a Cast Member event. The full display is packed with EPCOT Easter eggs, including Dreamfinder’s Dream Mobile airship, a dinosaur from the former Universe of Energy, and the robot butler and facade of the defunct Horizons attraction.
While checking out the mural, we also spotted a crew member in a boom lift, working on some of the triangular tiles along the side of the building.
A crew member was also walking along the scaffolding on the far right of CommuniCore Hall, where the flat triangular panels with holes can be seen. It appears these are ready for their next phase of installation.
