World Nature Pathway Temporarily Closed Due to EPCOT Construction

A pathway connecting World Nature to the rosewalk is temporarily closed during construction of CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT.

World Nature Pathway Closed

For reference, the closed pathway is circled on the map above. It’s near Journey Into Imagination. While closed, guests must go through World Celebration to reach World Nature or the rosewalk (the pathway next to the lagoon leading to World Showcase).

On the rosewalk side, construction walls block access to the sidewalk during construction. The closure is temporary, although we don’t know how long it will last. A different part of the rosewalk was previously closed for five weeks during construction.

Scrims also block the view of the path from across the water.

Near the Imagination! Pavilion, rolling planters block access. Beyond the planters are more construction walls and CommuniCore Hall. The new building and plaza are scheduled to open this year as part of World Celebration.

The last entrance to the sidewalk also has rolling planters in front of it.

A-frame directional sign

A-frame signs direct guests around the construction to other areas of the park. This sign, striped blue for World Celebration, has an arrow pointing guests around the blocked pathway to World Showcase, World Discovery, World Celebration, and the park exit.

CommuniCore Hall is the final step of the major EPCOT reimagining that also included splitting Future World into the three Celebration, Nature, and Discovery “neighborhoods.”

The 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is underway and, despite the construction, guests can still enjoy views of global gardens and character topiaries. Stay tuned for our full reviews of the festival food.
