EPCOT is one of our favorite Disney World parks to spend time in.
There are so many incredible pavilions to explore, foods to eat, shows to see, and of course — rides to ride! But, not every day in EPCOT can be perfect, and folks got to experience that firsthand when a ride was evacuated due to an emergency recently.
Frozen Ever After was evacuated due to an emergency in the building on February 29th. Cast Members were stationed out front to advise folks they’d have to come back later if they wanted to ride. They were also providing experience redemption passes (basically rain checks) for people with Lightning Lanes.
But, it seems like whatever the emergency was got cleared up pretty quickly as wait times started showing not too long after we stopped by.
In situations like this, it’s always important to remember to listen to Cast Members as they’re trained to keep everyone safe and know just what to do if an emergency arises.
On the flip side, if a ride you were planning on going on is suddenly closed, don’t worry — chances are it’ll be back up and running soon! And, if you purchased a Lightning Lane but a ride is down, stop by Guest Relations and they can usually help you out.
