4 Confessions from a Disney Adult

We’re Disney Adults. Of course, we have some weird habits and confessions!

Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle

We spend a lot of time in the Disney World parks (we’re there every day), and we watch a TON of Disney movies (Disney+ is our comfort zone), so we’re pretty deep into the Disney fandom bubble. And when you’re as much of a die-hard fan as we are, you end up with some confessions you need to get off your chest!

We’re Park Snobs

When we asked our team about their Disney confessions, one of the most common is that we’re all park snobs in some way or another! One person on our team said they pretty much only go to EPCOT during their vacations, while another said she’d be fine with not ever going to Magic Kingdom. Shocking, right?!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

But when you visit as much as we do, you really get to know what you like! If you’re a laid-back park experience kind of person, Animal Kingdom might be your vibe. If you’re just here for the food and drinks, it’s EPCOT. Thrill ride, Star Wars, and Pixar fans will want Hollywood Studios, while people who crave nostalgia will probably head to Magic Kingdom.

Millennium Falcon

Especially for us locals, we find ourselves getting into the habit of visiting the same parks over and over during our free time. Whoopsie!

We Totally Have Crushes on Fictional Characters

Like I said, we watch a LOT of Disney movies. Crushes on actors? Maybe not. But crushes on the fictional characters they portray? 100%!

Here comes the smolder!

From Kylo Ren to Captain America to even Flynn Rider and Prince Eric, we’ve developed plenty of (totally normal and completely okay) attachments to some of our favorite fictional friends. And when we get to see those same characters in the parks? Well, that’s just the icing on the cake!

We’re Not Always the Best at Packing Park Bags

We know exactly how to pack the perfect park bag, but we’re human, and we totally forget things all the time! We’ve been caught on more than one occasion in the parks without a phone charger and had to shell out the $30 for a FuelRod on the spot. It wasn’t pretty! Especially when you can get TWO FuelRods on Amazon for $35!!

We’ve also visited First Aid our fair share of times for things as simple as Band-Aids or Ibuprofen. Don’t be like us — double-check that packing list before you leave the hotel room! Or better yet, before you leave home! Here is a small first aid kit that you can throw in your park bag.

We Sometimes Skip the Must-Dos

Yes, we absolutely love the Festival of Fantasy Parade and Happily Ever After and Luminous — the Symphony of Us and Fantasmic. But when you’ve seen the fireworks and parades and stage shows at least half a dozen times, you sometimes realize that you could use that park time to get other things done!

Happily Ever After

We’ve been known to use fireworks times to knock out a few extra rides, stroll through an empty park, or visit the gift shops when they’re not as busy. We definitely still recommend all these offerings as must-dos for your first trip, but when it’s your 50th…do Disney however you’d like!

Fantasmic!
