While visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios recently, we spotted that two new theming elements had been added to Ice Cold Hydraulics following its opening late last month.
New Theming at Ice Cold Hydraulics
Ice Cold Hydraulics is located on Grand Avenue in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which is themed to modern-day Los Angeles. There, guests can find a menu featuring Coca-Cola-infused snacks and beverages, as well as classic Disney treats like Mickey pretzels, popcorn, and cotton candy.
Newly added to the right side of the structure is a bright red faux garage door, matching the red trim of the rest of its exterior. The door is made up of 12 squares, with the upper six being glass windows, and the bottom six painted red.
A bike rack was also added in front of the brick wall behind the kiosk.
The door replaces what was previously a large concrete slab, as seen above from when construction walls first came down around Ice Cold Hydraulics in February 2024. In this photo, you can clearly see the large rectangle where the garage door would eventually go.
The bike rack is wave-style, with five places for those visiting Grand Avenue to, in theory, park their bikes.
What do you think of these newly added theming elements? Do they tie the entire space together? Let us know in the comments, and watch our review below:
