Some of the construction walls around the Frontierland Railroad Station have come down at Magic Kingdom, as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure moves ever closer to its summer 2024 opening.
Walls Down at Frontierland Railroad Station
During a recent trip to the park, we noticed that some of the construction walls put up for work on Frontierland Railroad Station and the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure queue had been removed.
The above photo, taken less than a week ago, shows what the area looked like before the walls were removed.
With the walls now gone, newly added plants that will be part of the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure queue can be seen. A portion of the queue is blocked off by a construction wall, located behind the greenery. It can be viewed from above when waiting for the train. The path on the right side leads to a restroom that remains open during bconstruction.
A row of rolling planters remains in the area. In the distance, walls are still up around what will be a second staircase for the Frontierland Railroad Station.
A small section is still walled off. It appears more greenery will eventually fill this area.
In front of the newly uncovered section, another bare planter has been prepped for what will likely be more greenery.
This area of Frontierland is sure to be complete in time for the summer 2024 opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It appears that many elements of the attractions’s construction are in the final stages of completion, as Imagineers have been recently spotted taking test rides, and three testing signs have been added to the flume at the bottom of the drop.
