Here’s the Round 1 RESULTS For Our DFB Disney Halloween Treats Bracket!

It’s the first day of October and we have the results from Round 1 of a particularly spooky new bracket!

Not So Poison Apple Cupcake

There are LOTS of great Halloween Treats in Disney World, but we want to know which one is the best of the best — with your help of course! Over on our Instagram, we’re staging the DFB Halloween Treats Bracket and the results from Round 1 are IN!

First up, we pit the Candy Corn Cupcake from the Screen Door General Store against the Fall Flavors Cupcake from Gasparilla Island Grill. Our winner? It’s the Fall Flavors!

The Halloween Cupcake from Capt. Cook’s couldn’t quite stand up to the fans backing the Not So Poison Apple Cupcake from Pinocchio Village Haus!

For our final cupcake face-off, the Caramel Cauldron Cupcake from Good’s Food To Go and Conch Flats General Store took the cake against the Scar Cupcake from  Creature Comforts, Flame Tree Barbecue, and Restaurantosaurus.

A returning favorite trumped over a new option when Constance’s For Better or For Worse Wedding Cake from Liberty Square Market beat out the Mike Wazowski Dome Cake from Capt. Cook’s.

The Pumpkin Bread Tiramisu from Rosie’s All-American Cafe will be leaving the Pumpkin Cheesecake Cannoli from PizzeRizzo in the dust as it advances to the next round.

When we compare two very skeletal treats the Halloween Tiramisu from The Market at Ale & Compass and Beach Club Marketplace bested the Box of Bones Eclair from Backlot Express.

It’s a whoopie pie smackdown! The Pumpkin Whoopie Pie from The Market at Ale & Compass and Beach Club Marketplace was chosen over the Pumpkin Spice Whoopie Pie from The Artist’s Palette.

The ubiquitous Spider Web Mickey Cookie got the boot. Our readers chose the Spooky Mickey Brownie from Roaring Fork!

And finally, the Pumpkin Glace from Le Petit Cafe just couldn’t stand up to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop’s Pumpkin Spice Butter Pecan Shake.

This is a pretty exciting bracket if you ask us. We can’t WAIT to see which treat is crowned the winner. If you want to vote in the next rounds of the competition, head on over to our Instagram and keep an eye on those stories! Round 2 voting is happening NOW!
