Members can use their points to stay where the magic is year after year and can even visit resorts outside of Disney World and Disneyland, like Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, Disney’s Hilton Head Resort, or even Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa. PLUS members can use their points at certain non-Disney hotels and resorts. Besides using their points for vacations, Disney Vacation Club Members also have special events and lounges around Disney World!

Moonlight Magic
Membership extras can be a great additional perk to being a Disney Vacation Club Member! Right now, members can partake in special after-hours events around the Disney World parks called Moonlight Magic!

For members staying at eligible Disney World Resorts, Moonlight Magic is FREE! Think of this as an after-hours event that gives members access to rides with little to no wait! This event also features character meet-and-greets, entertainment, and complimentary treats!

Moonlight Magic takes place at all four parks, including Typhoon Lagoon, on various dates throughout the year. While many Moonlight Magic dates have already passed, this year, there are still two dates at Typhoon Lagoon on June 4th and July 11th, as well as August 27th at Hollywood Studios,.

Exclusive Lounges
There are two exclusive lounges at Disney World that only Disney Vacation Club Members have access to.

In EPCOT, eligible members can head up to the Disney Vacation Club Lounge on the second floor of the Imagination Pavilion. The lounge is currently open from 11AM to 6 PM. Here, members can relax in comfortable chairs and enjoy the views of the EPCOT with some nice AC.

The lounge also has complimentary snacks and beverages for members to enjoy.

At Bay Lake Tower, members can head up to the 16th floor and enjoy the Top of the World Lounge — A Villain’s Liar. This lounge recently got new theming and has villains decor, villains music, and a villains-inspired menu. This lounge is open from 6 PM to midnight. Some members might have a hard time getting into the lounge, depending on specialty events.

The best part? It has a stunning view of Magic Kingdom and views of the fireworks.

Fireworks Viewing Parties
On certain days, the Top of the World Lounge hosts two events for an extra charge.
The walls are decked out with villain portraits.
The first of these specialty events is the Wicked Wind Down. For a fee, this experience includes a cocktail, appetizer, dessert, and a special fireworks viewing area.

The next event is the Enchantment at the Top Dessert Party. Also, for an additional fee, a dessert buffet along with adult beverages are available. There is also a reserved area for fireworks viewing.
