We finally have a countdown to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
This year, you’ll be able to experience this exclusive after-hours event on select nights starting on August 9th all the way through October 31st. Tickets cost between $119-$199 depending on which night you’re going, and while any day is usually a great day to experience some Disney magic, there are some days we highly recommend NOT going to this special experience.
Whether this is due to higher crowd levels or more expensive ticket prices (which sometimes go hand in hand), these are the dates we recommend staying FAR away from.
August 9th
The first event of the year is bound to be teeming with crowds, as everyone wants to get the first look at the new merchandise, snacks, and more coming to the after-hours party.
While pricing hasn’t been revealed for individual dates just yet (tickets go on sale for the public on May 15th!), we also have a sneaking suspicion this date may be more expensive than the other August dates due to it being the very first of the season.
Most Expensive Dates (Expected to be October 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, & 29th)
As the months pass and we get closer to Halloween, the pricing for the party will most likely start to creep toward the top of the price range. Typically, these are the Friday nights in October and the party right before Halloween.
In this case, those dates fall on October 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, and 29th of this year. Again, we don’t have exact pricing just yet, but if you want to stay away from some of the most expensive dates of the event, this is NOT the time to go!
Halloween
And, of course, while it’s beyond fun to be in Disney World on Halloween, and especially experience their Halloween event on the actual day, this is not the day to go to avoid crowds or pay a cheaper price.
This will undoubtedly be the most expensive date of the event, and will likely sell out the fastest, which means crowds will be LARGE. However, it also means that if you’re set on going ON Halloween, you’ll want to grab that ticket ASAP when they go on sale May 15th.
The party will take place on select nights, starting at 7PM and running until midnight, with party guests able to enter the park as early as 4PM. Keep in mind that the party does not happen every night—only select nights between August 9th and October 31st. We personally can’t wait to hear more about this incredible event as we get closer to opening, and we’ll keep you updated with all the latest news, so stay tuned to DFB!
