Magic Kingdom
- At the Most Magical Place on Earth, a thief stole a woman’s belongings, threw her driver’s license in the toilet and then tried to ring up UberEats on her credit card, according to a new sheriff’s report.
EPCOT
- After a year of construction, the flex space next to the Imagination! Pavilion at EPCOT has reopened with new seating and shade for guests to relax.
- Tonight, we got a first look at CommuniCore Hall, the home to a new Mickey & Friends meet and greet, which opens to the public tomorrow at EPCOT.
- Auli’i Cravalho, the voice of Moana, recently visited Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana” in EPCOT for the first time.
- During tonight’s media preview, we were able to see a full performance of “¡Celebración Encanto!”, a new live show premiering at EPCOT tomorrow.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Most scaffolding has been removed from Disney Vacation Club’s new Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows since our last construction update.
New Merchandise
- EPCOT has a new World Showcase passport design featuring Figment instead of Mickey Mouse.
- This Princess Tiana ear headband and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure MagicBand+ will be released at Magic Kingdom on June 28, the same day the attraction officially opens.
- Walt Disney World has new pins inspired by Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort.
- Five new World Showcase pins are now available at Walt Disney World Resort.
Disneyland Resort
- A Mickey Pride floral is now on display in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort.
- The Incredibles have returned to “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” at Disney California Adventure.
- Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened at Disneyland Park five years ago and Disney is celebrating with commemorative merchandise.
- A construction box has gone up in the Space Mountain queue at Disneyland and the attraction also changed their single rider operations (again).
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Tokyo Disney Resort guests can now purchase chocolate candies inspired by their favorite accessory: mouse ear headbands.
Disney Cruise Line
- Disney Cruise Line has a new pineapple sipper available at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, their new private destination in The Bahamas.
Entertainment and Media
- Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Lion King” returns to theaters next month in honor of the film’s 30th anniversary.
