Construction walls are gone and work is complete in the Morocco Pavilion courtyard at EPCOT. The pavilion has seen on-and-off construction for years but work on this particular project began in March.

Walls no longer block the entrance area of the pavilion. Scaffolding and tarps are gone, too. The tiles on the four planters and the fountain have been replaced.
We previously shared a look at the new tiles on one of the planters. The fountain with its new tilework is now visible. It has the same shape featuring an octagonal base topped with a star shape and a stone bowl in the center.
The new tile is teal, blue, white, and yellow. It has a more simplistic checkered design. The former tilework was more elaborate and detailed. See it in the old photo below.
The courtyard’s pavement was refurbished in 2021.
Disney took ownership of the Morocco Pavilion in 2020 amid legal disputes with Marrakesh Moroccan Restaurant, LLC, former operators of the food and merchandise locations within the pavilion. The pavilion originally opened in 1984, two years after EPCOT. Construction was sponsored by the Moroccan government and included hand-tiling by Moroccan craftspeople.
