After we noticed EPCOT guidemaps were no longer available in some languages, the change has rolled out to the other three Walt Disney World theme parks.

Map stands are located at the entrances of all four theme parks. Maps are also available at select locations throughout the parks.
Japanese, German, and French guidemaps are no longer available at the park entrances. Guests can still get English (light blue), Portuguese (green), and Spanish (yellow) maps, as well as maps for guests with disabilities (dark blue).
Guests can still get Japanese, German, and French guidemaps at Guest Relations locations. Guest Relations told us the change was due to low demand for maps in these languages. Making them available only by request helps Disney track the amount needed.
This change is only temporary. Once Disney has assessed demand, maps in Japanese, German, and French will be made available at park entrances again. We don’t know how long the maps will only be available at Guest Relations.
Do you use the guidemaps in other languages? How does this affect your upcoming Walt Disney World trips? Sound off in the comments or on social media.
