With less than a month away from the start of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom and a bit over a month until the start of Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure, we think it is the perfect time to start planning your costumes!
While we may not have found the perfect Halloween masks to complete your look for the parties, we do have photos of a few vintage Disney Halloween masks that we think you really need to see. Maybe they will even provide a bit of inspiration for your costumes this year!
As the title alluded to, these masks may not be for the faint of heart. Don’t say we didn’t warn you, but these masks definitely have lots of vintage charm. These vintage Halloween masks are from the Walt Disney Archives from the Ben Cooper Disney Halloween masks collection. These five masks are sure to make an impression. We are starting off with a mask based on the movie Tron. Now with the addition of TRON Lightcycle / Run in Magic Kingdom, it may be the perfect time to bring back this vintage mask!
Or you can opt for this Sleeping Beauty mask. We are not quite sure it does Sleeping Beauty justice, but we can (kind of) see what they were going for. We may be seeing this one in our dreams tonight…
There is also this mask of Professor Ludwig Von Drake that is sure to impress all your friends. With the perfect combination of sass and charm, this mask embodies Professor Ludwig Von Drake perfectly and will definitely help you stand out during Halloween.
If Donald Duck is more of your style, have no fear, as there is also a Donald Duck mask. This mask exudes happiness with a bit of fear mixed in, and it is even complete with some polka dots. Like most of these masks, we do have worries about what it would look like with human eyes in the eye holes, but this mask could be great for Donald Duck’s 85th anniversary!
Last but not least, there is a Mouseketeers Halloween Mask so you can share your love of Mickey Mouse and the Mickey Mouse Club. You can transform into a Mouseketeer with this vintage mask. Of course, we also think it is a requirement to sing the theme song while wearing this mask. M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E! Mickey Mouse!
Well, we hope you had as much fun as us taking a look at some of the vintage Disney Halloween masks. While you may not be able to purchase them anymore, we can definitely still admire them! While we are on the topic of Halloween masks, Halloween season is starting soon at both Disney World and Disneyland and if you want to learn more about celebrating Halloween at Disney, check out our video:
