More towers, trusses, and speakers have been installed throughout Universal Studios Florida for Halloween Horror Nights 33.
Halloween Horror Nights 33 Preparation
There are more scaffolding towers on the Hollywood street. One is stationed outside of Five and Dime.
Another is outside the Summer Tribute Store. Both towers sit in black box bases with no decorations. This area is usually a scare zone.
An archway is up at the Battery Park corner across from Transformers The Ride 3-D and Mel’s Drive-In.
On the other side of the pavilion, more scaffolding towers are next to the railings overlooking the lagoon.
There are three on each side of the plaza’s clock.
This area usually features a food booth. Last year, it was a Mel’s themed pop-up while Mel’s was closed for refurbishment.
Like the towers on the Hollywood street, these have no decorations. They’re on flatter black bases with tarps wrapped around their lower half.
Past Cafe La Bamba, we saw several new speakers in another scare zone location.
Some of the speakers were hidden in shrubbery.
Others were fully visible next to trusses that were previously installed.
This scare zone runs between Cafe La Bamba and Animal Actors on Location!
Lastly, we noticed a tower was ready for a “Nightmare Fuel” sign outside the former Fear Factor Live stage. We previously saw work underway inside the theater to prepare for the show.
Halloween Horror Nights 33 begins on August 30 and takes place on select nights through November 3. Purchase tickets on the Universal Orlando Resort website.
