A new exhibit featuring costumes and props from the upcoming Disney+ original film “Descendants: The Rise of Red” has been added at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
“Descendants: The Rise of Red” Exhibit
This exhibit can be found within the rotating gallery space inside Walt Disney Presents. An “Inside Out 2” sneak peek and exhibit were also recently added to the attraction, which is located between Animation Courtyard and Toy Story Land.
Costumes from two of the film’s main characters, Red and Chloe, played by Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker, respectively, are on display alongside a replica of the Sorcerers Cookbook that is featured in the film.
A plaque under the Sorcerers Cookbook explains the film’s plot, and explains that costumes in the exhibit are designed by Emilio Sosa, a Tony-nominated costume designer.
Costumes for Bridget and the Queen of Hearts, played by Roby Rose Turner and Rita Ora, are also on display. Pictures of the actors are placed below the costumes.
Items from the film including a timepiece and a large piece of heart-themed jewelry sit between the costumes. The plaque provides brief character descriptions.
“Descendants: The Rise of Red” is the fourth film in the Descendants series. The first film premiered on Disney Channel in 2015. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom will feature a new Descendants-themed dance party at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland later this year.
The film premieres July 12 on Disney+. The other three Descendants films can also be streamed on the service.
