Disney has finally announced the dates for these important character dining CHANGES happening in Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2024!

Disney World’s character dining restaurants are some of the most popular places to eat in the parks because they’re character meet-and-greet experiences and tasty meals rolled into one. One of these restaurants in Hollywood Studios actually changes themes a few times a year, and now we have the dates for two upcoming changes.

The Hollywood & Vine restaurant is a character dining spot in Hollywood Studios, located near Echo Lake (right by 50’s Prime Time Café).

This restaurant is actually a two-part experience: Breakfast is the Disney Junior Play ‘n’ Dine Breakfast, with characters like Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, and Roadster Goofy and food like biscuits and gravy, Mickey waffles, and eggs benedict. This part of the restaurant does NOT change throughout the year — it remains the Disney Junior Play ‘n’ Dine Breakfast year-round, with the same characters through the seasons.

Lunch and dinner at Hollywood & Vine is Minnie’s Seasonal Dine, and (as the name of this meal suggests), it changes themes with the seasons. The changes mainly affect the characters’ costumes. You’ll find the same characters at Seasonal Dine throughout the year — Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto — but their outfits change based on the current season.

In the first part of the year, it’s Silver Screen Dine to celebrate the awards season, and you’ll meet Minnie and her friends in their fancy celebration outfits.

The restaurant then switches to Springtime Dine with bright, floral outfits for the characters.

Up next is Summertime Dine with outfits perfect for a summer vacation. That’s the theme that is currently in place, and we’d been waiting to hear when the theme will switch over to Halloween Dine.

Now, we have the dates for both Halloween Dine and Holiday Dine!

Halloween Dine will begin at Hollywood & Vine on August 9th, 2024. During this time, Disney says guests can “visit Minnie’s favorite happy haunt for a spooktacular Halloween feast that’s frightfully delightful.”  This theme will stick around through November 7th.

On November 8th, it will switch to Holiday Dine! During Holiday Dine, you can “deck the halls at a dazzling dinner party filled with holiday cheer and the joy of the season!”

Holiday Dine will stick around through January 4th, 2025, and on the 5th, the cycle will begin again with Silver Screen Dine. Disney hasn’t released the rest of the 2025 dates yet.

Minnie’s Seasonal Dining for lunch and dinner includes a buffet with salads, starters, and entrées such as oven-roasted herbed chicken, seared salmon, and spiced-rubbed pork loin. Save room for dessert, like the seasonal bread pudding and Mississippi mud pie!
