You never know who you might run into the next time you’re on your Disney vacation!

Ever since Disney started buying up established franchises like Pixar, Lucasfilm, and Marvel, we’ve seen more and more interesting (and rare!) character meet-and-greets come to the parks. Seeing Indiana Jones and Kevin from Up in one place is honestly kind of mind-blowing. But, we certainly never thought we’d see this character at Disneyland!

It’s official — Deadpool will be coming to Disneyland Resort soon! Yep, Wade Wilson himself will be roaming around the Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure beginning July 26th. We’re also pretty sure this makes him a Disney Princess.

The new character interaction is coming to the park to celebrate the release of the latest Deadpool movie, Deadpool & Wolverine, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman as the titular characters, reprising their iconic roles. The film premieres on July 26th as well!

For now, Disney has only shared that Deadpool will be around for a limited time, but hasn’t given us an official end date for his time in the park. And, over at Disneyland Paris, Deadpool will also be meeting with parkgoers starting July 24th!

Deadpool is known for his sarcastic, coarse humor, and we hope to see that brought to life in the character at Disneyland! But, knowing what we know about this foul-mouthed superhero, chances are he’s going to have to be on his best behavior to keep things PG.
