Newest Addition to Flex Space Throws Shade at EPCOT

The latest additions to the flex space area in World Celebration throw plenty of shade — in the traditional sense, anyway. Large overhead shades have been installed over the picnic tables.

New Shades Added at EPCOT Flex Space

The newest addition to this flex space features an outdoor seating area with a modern canopy structure, surrounded by greenery and lampposts. The area resembles a park or public gathering space with a blue sky and scattered clouds in the background, reminiscent of EPCOT's open design.

The new shades are triangular in shape, and cover the picnic table seating area at the flex space.

When this area opened back in June, the shades had not yet been installed, as shown in the image above. However, the picnic tables did offer white umbrellas for some form of shade.
