HHN 33 Entrance & ‘Duality of Fear’ Scare Zone

A busy theme park entrance with crowds of people, palm trees, and colorful buildings on either side. An overhead truss system with lights is visible in the foreground.

The entrance archway is right behind the Universal Studios Florida gates, between the two entry pavilions. Three speakers hang from the archway, which currently has no decorations.

A city street with palm trees on either side, multiple colorful buildings, and people walking. Overhead is a metal truss structure with lights.

Beyond the archway is a set of scaffolding over the road for the Duality of Fear scare zone. Guests will enter Duality of Fear as soon as they enter HHN. In this scare zone, guests “must choose a path: the visceral horror of SINIST3R or the unearthly terror of SURR3AL.”

People walk along a palm tree-lined street with a stage and lighting rig set up in the background. The sky is partly cloudy.

The structure has several lights pointing towards the road. A couple of speakers are in the corners. There are railings around the top, likely for SINIST3R and SURR3AL to walk across and interact with guests below.

More set dressing fills out the space for Swamp of the Undead. This scare zone is in the Central Park area of Universal Studios Florida. There are boats with fishing gear stuck between craggy rocks.

A weathered area with foliage, a "KEEP OUT" sign, old barrels, wooden crates, and netting forms a chilling scare zone set against a backdrop of trees and buildings.

There are rubber tires attached to the dock and ferns surrounding it.

Barrels and drums are positioned around a roped-off, covered pole on a sunlit sidewalk, creating an eerie scare zone surrounded by tropical plants and trees.

The bottom of a scaffolding tower has been wrapped in twine. Lights are partially hidden among plants and behind barrels.

A cluster of potted palm plants arranged in black plastic containers, with trees and outdoor lighting fixtures in the background, creates an eerie ambiance reminiscent of a scare zone.

An airboat, which one might use to navigate a swamp, is behind several potted plants. These plants aren’t permanent but are just blocking the airboat while construction continues.

We can see the airboat’s giant fan, partially covered by a net.

Many of the props are purposefully weathered and stained. Plants appear to be growing around them, swallowing them into the swamp.

A treehouse with a wooden staircase is situated in a lush, tropical garden, surrounded by palm trees and various foliage. The ambiance resembles a tranquil retreat more than a scare zone. An adjacent house is partially visible in the background.

This stall resembles one you might see at a Renaissance faire.

Food Booths

A stone-themed, empty display booth with a "Pardon our dust" sign stands outdoors in a theme park's scare zone, with other attractions and cloudy skies in the background.

This first food booth was on the bridge near the park’s Springfield area. It’s covered in fake stones with vines growing over the roof.

The ordering window features wooden planks above it, like a castle’s gate.
