Ken Potrock, president of the Disneyland Resort has teased that the resort could be receiving a large amount of announcements during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Expo.

In a speech given to members of the media during D23 Day at Disneyland Resort, Potrock stated he “has a feeling that a swath of the [announcements] will be for Disneyland Resort,” further stating “As successful as we have been, our best days are ahead.”

We here at WDWNT have made several predictions of what could be announced for Disneyland Resort at D23 this year, Including more details about the previously announced Avatar “experience” coming to the parks, a much speculated on Zootopia-themed land, and more information about the Avengers Multiverse ride coming to Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure.

It is also possible that we may hear about the resort’s plans for it’s upcoming 70th anniversary celebration next year, or more details about the DisneylandForward project which could include a potential third gate.

All will be revealed this weekend at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, where we suspect most information will shared during  Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase  (colloquially known as the Disney Parks panel) on August 10.
