A Very Empty Model of Disney Adventure World Theme Park On Display at D23

A model of Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios Park) at Disneyland Paris has been revealed at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Expo and several empty plots of land appear on the model, hinting at things that might be revealed for the park this weekend or potential future expansion.

Disney Adventure World Model

A miniature scale model of a theme park with various buildings, a lake in the center, green spaces, and water features, displayed on a table indoors.

The model prominently features the previously announced World of Frozen at the soon-to-be-renamed Disney Adventure World, though we suspect that the areas featuring empty grass in the model will be expanded in the coming days, possibly with new lands or attractions.

Disneyland Paris took to social media earlier today to tease announcements coming this weekend, so we may not have to wait long to find out what those empty plots are for. Rumors indicate a Lion King attraction and/or land may be on the slate.

A detailed model of a theme park showcases miniature buildings, a body of water, green spaces, and a mountain-like structure with a snowy peak. Pathways and various structures are also visible.

What will go into the space is unknown at this time, but we have some predictions on what could be announced for the Disneyland Paris.

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event officially kicks off August 9 at the Anaheim Convention Center and will run through August 11. We will be here to cover all of the breaking news and announcements, so stay tuned!
