Footage from “The Mandalorian & Grogu” shown at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event has found its way online.
The first half of the “teaser trailer” features footage from “The Mandalorian” on Disney+. It then kicks into scenes from the film. The footage notably features a shot of Zeb from “Star Wars: Rebels,” who had a cameo in the last season of “The Mandalorian.” It also features Anzellans like Babu Frik. Anzellan mechanics appeared in season 3 as well. Many clips are on an icy planet like Hoth, including a sequence of Mando and Grogu piloting an AT-ST.

“The Mandalorian & Grogu” began filming earlier this summer. It will be released on May 22, 2026, and official footage will likely not be released for many months.
