Release Dates Set for Disney’s ‘Frozen III’ and Pixar’s ‘Hoppers

Two films recently highlighted during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event — Disney’s “Frozen III” and Pixar’s “Hoppers” — now have release dates.

According to Deadline, “Frozen III” will hit the big screen just before Thanksgiving on Wednesday, November 24, 2027.

Though not many details about the upcoming film were shared at D23, fans did get a glimpse at new concept art and learned that the film would be one of a two-part finale that would reportedly resolve all unanswered questions.

The first “Frozen” film initially had a one-theater limited release before going wide on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving in 2013. “Frozen II” opened the Friday before Thanksgiving in 2019.

An announcement for the new Pixar film "Hoppers," scheduled to be released in theaters in 2026, was displayed on a large screen with an eager audience watching.

Pixar’s upcoming feature film about switching human brains into the bodies of robotic beavers will open on March 6, 2026. The film features the voices of Jon Hamm and Bobby Moynihan.
