New Halloween Cocktail Available at Lamplight Lounge in Disney California Adventure

As invited media, Disney provided WDWNT with a gift card for food and beverages, so some of the following coverage was hosted. As always, WDWNT will still provide our honest thoughts on all below.

Lamplight Lounge at Disney California Adventure Park has a new Halloween Cocktail available for the 2024 Halloween season.

New Pumpkin Spiced Latte Donuts are also listed as available at Lamplight Lounge. Unfortunately, there was some miscommunication at the location when we tried to purchase them on the first day of the season. Cast Members upstairs at Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining told us the donuts were only available downstairs. Cast Members downstairs told us they were only available upstairs. We ultimately learned that they aren’t available until after 2 p.m.

The Halloween Cocktail is on both menus. Also new at the lounge this fall are Bivouac Cat’s Paw Cider ($13.50) and Ommegang Imperial Peanut Butter Stout ($16.50).

Frangelico, orange juice, vanilla vodka, butterscotch syrup, almond orgeat syrup, and Angostura bitters

We were excited when this arrived at the table. It looked and sounded great. The recipe is a who’s who of great flavors. Unfortunately, the almond syrup and bitters pushed them around too much. The butterscotch and vanilla should go great together but they were hard to detect beneath the nuttiness. There was almost no sweetness to the cocktail at all. It was good, but disappointing compared to what it could have been.
