New Torta Cubana Mexican Sandwich at Rancho del Zocalo in Disneyland

Disneyland is now serving its take on the Mexican sandwich Torta Cubana at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante.

This is a solid sandwich. We expected the bread and the crust on the steak to be soggy, especially given how long we waited to check out, but they were crisp and tender. You can tell they buttered and grilled the bread. The sauce has a bit of a kick.

Rancho went from being one of the worst quick-service restaurants at Disneyland Resort to one of the best. This is another hit in the streak that includes the “Fantasmic!” dining package. We hope the hits keep coming.
